What a terrific description of MOOdiscourse, Catherine! That's it.

Well, under certain circumstances, anyway. We should note that it's quite
*possible* to have placid, leisurely, meandering, quiet conversations on a
MOO. But whenever a room has more than 2 or 3 fast typists who've attached
themselves to a provocative topic or three, the words they do fly!
