Creative Director, Wired Magazine; Bachelor of Fine Arts, 1999
If a picture is worth a thousand words, there’s not enough room on this page to describe the success of Scott Dadich. At 24, he landed a job of Associate Art Director for Texas Monthly. By 2005 he was nominated for a National Magazine Award, named "Designer of the Year" by the City and Regional Magazine Association and named to Print magazine’s "20 under 30" list.
In 2006, Scott became the Creative Director at Wired magazine. After only one year in his new position, the magazine won a National Magazine award for General Excellence. Scott was also awarded Best Celebrity Cover by the American Society of Magazine Editors for his September 2006 cover with Stephen Colbert.
Scott says Texas Tech made him feel "like a person, not a number," the way he did when he visited larger universities. "I fell in love with graphic design and met some really wonderful people in Texas Tech's design program. The professors gave the extra time and effort to see that my energies were pointed in a positive direction,” he adds.
